What is ISO 37301:2021 and why is it key for businesses? 

ISO 37301:2021 is an international standard that sets out the requirements for implementing a Compliance Management System. It provides a framework that enables the management of compliance with laws, regulations and internal commitments, as well as the identification, assessment and treatment of compliance-related risks.

Unlike ISO 19600, which was guidance-based, ISO 37301 is a certifiable standard, allowing organisations to demonstrate, through external audit, the implementation of a compliance management system in accordance with an international standard.
