A roofing solution with certified fire resistance performance
In industrial projects, logistics centres, warehouses or agri-food facilities, the choice of roofing solution must meet various technical requirements, including thermal insulation, fire performance and the durability of the system.
Technical performance for demanding industrial environments
In this context, Cubigrec Roc LL HD is a mineral wool sandwich panel for roofs, designed for applications where fire protection forms part of the project requirements.

Its main features include:
- Highly customisable panel (various sheet metal thicknesses, various finish options).
- Fire reaction classification A2-s1,d0 in accordance with EN 13501-1:2018 (Euroclasses).
- Fire resistance classification up to REI 120 for thicknesses of 80 mm and 100 mm.
- Fire resistance rating up to REI 90 for thicknesses of 60 mm.
- Broof (t1), Broof (t2) and Broof (t3) * classifications in accordance with Decision 2006/600/EC for external fire performance.
- Rigid mineral wool insulating core with high thermal performance (thermal transmittance of 0.39 W/m²K for the 100 mm thick LL LD core panel)
- Good airborne sound insulation performance, with weighted sound insulation values (Rw) of up to 32 dB, depending on the core configuration and panel thickness.
- Longitudinal joint design with overlap for quick installation. For fire-resistant solutions, the joint includes an intumescent strip.
The importance of fire resistance in industrial roofs
The REI classification assesses the behaviour of a building component in the event of a fire over a specified period:
The higher the value associated with the REI classification, the longer the system maintains these safety performance levels. Furthermore, one of its main advantages is that the Cubigrec Roc LL HD panel can achieve up to 120 minutes’ fire resistance for thicknesses of 100 mm and 80 mm, and 90 minutes for thicknesses of 60 mm, without the need for additional sealing at the joint, thereby simplifying installation and ensuring high levels of safety.
The availability of classifications up to REI 120 means that Cubigrec Roc LL HD can be used in projects where specific fire resistance performance is required for the building envelope.
REI classifications by thickness
| Panel thickness | REI classification |
| 50 mm | REI 45 |
| 60 mm | REI 90 |
| 80 mm | REI 120 |
| 100 mm | REI 120 |
*Tested in accordance with standard EN 1365-2:2014 and classified in accordance with EN 13501-2:2023.
Cubigrec Roc LL HD: certified performance for industrial projects
The fire resistance classifications available for Cubigrec Roc LL HD allow it to be used in various types of buildings, such as industrial units, logistics centres, agri-food facilities and other spaces used for production activities.
In addition to its certified fire performance for specific configurations and thicknesses, the panel incorporates a mineral wool core that contributes to the thermal and acoustic insulation of the roof. Combined with its A2-s1,d0 fire reaction classification and the various configuration options available, Cubigrec Roc LL HD offers a solution tailored to projects where passive fire protection forms part of the design requirements.
