Teczone’s sustainability policy
At Teczone, we understand sustainability as a core value that guides our industrial activity and our relationship with the environment. We are committed to protecting the environment, improving people’s quality of life and creating a safe and responsible working environment. This commitment is translated into concrete actions: reduction of environmental impact, efficient management of resources, prevention of occupational risks and promotion of a culture of continuous improvement that actively involves our entire workforce.
Our adherence to Kingspan’s Planet Passionate programme reinforces this approach, promoting real initiatives to combat climate change, move towards circularity and protect ecosystems. Our actions include self-generation of energy through solar panels, reducing the use of fossil fuels, responsible waste management, minimising water consumption and collaborating with local social and environmental projects. This is all part of our vision: to build responsible solutions today for a more sustainable tomorrow.

Planet Passionate Communities Fund
The Planet Passionate Communities Fund is a global initiative of the Kingspan Group that supports social and environmental projects with a positive impact on local communities. In Teczone, this commitment has materialised since 2022 through various activities carried out in Burgos, focused on environmental education, volunteering and collaboration with social entities. These include joint actions with the Oxígeno Foundation, UBU Verde, the Spanish Association Against Cancer and the Brotherhood of Blood Donors, which reflect our desire to actively contribute to the well-being of our immediate environment.
Funding criteria
As the Planet Passionate Community Fund specifically aims to invest in and improve the local communities living where our production sites are located, we have developed guidelines and criteria that applicants must meet in order to access funding.
So, while anyone can apply for funding from the Planet Passionate Community Fund, applicant projects must meet one of the following criteria:
– Support the conservation, protection and enhancement of the physical environment and the environment.
– Improve the health and fitness of our local communities through leisure.
– Promote a safe and sustainable built environment.
– Support youth education and skills.
Support local charities, as well as charitable events, aimed at generating income from activities related to the above criteria.
Applying for funding
If you know of or are involved in a project that meets one of the above objectives, you can apply for funding from the Planet Passionate Community Fund by downloading and completing the application form and emailing it to KIPCommunityFund@kingspan.com.
