As part of the Kingspan Group, Teczone is fully integrated into the Planet Passionate strategy, the ambitious ten-year sustainability program that addresses global challenges: climate change, clean energy, circularity and water management.
Global targets achieved by 2024
- 30 % on-site renewable energy generation, exceeding the initial target of 20 %.
- 61% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions from 2020, moving towards carbon neutrality by 2030
- 1.1 billion PET bottles recycled in production processes (more than the target of 1 billion)
- Five active ocean cleanup projects, meeting the proposed goal.
🎯 Goals to 2025 and 2030
These figures are part of a plan of 11 key objectives organized into four areas:
- Carbon
65 % reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 50 % reduction in CO₂ intensity at key suppliers; 100 % electric company fleet by 2025. - Energy
Use of 60 % direct renewable energy and generate 20 % in the factory; photovoltaic systems in all facilities by 2030; ISO 50001 certification. - Circularity
Zero waste to landfill; add 1.5 million tons of recycled or renewable raw materials per year; participate in 20 take-back and recycling programs by 2030 . - Water
Capturing 100 million liters of rainwater; five conservation actions in oceans by 2025 .
